Pass the Test

Message in the picture:
“Endure until your testing is over.” James 1:4a (GW)

Scriptures for the day:

1 Corinthians 10:12-13 (GNT) If you think you are standing firm you had better be careful that you do not fall. 13 Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people. But God keeps his promise, and he will not allow you to be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to endure it, and so provide you with a way out.

Psalm 34:19-22 (CEV) The Lord’s people may suffer a lot, but he will always bring them safely through. 20 Not one of their bones will ever be broken. 21 Wicked people are killed by their own evil deeds, and if you hate God’s people you will be punished. 22 The Lord saves the lives of his servants. Run to him for protection, and you won’t be punished.

Thought for the day:

You can pass the test, any test, if you rely on Jesus. Temptations—things that appeal to your appetites/desires—are easy to resist when you learn to use self-control and stand firm in your faith in God.

Hard times and seemingly difficult situations test your ability to endure, to hold, to trust God, to not give up—you can make it through these times. So yes, you can pass the test—any test—be blessed—Tim.
