The Prayer Formula

Message in the picture:

“Ask, and you will receive…” Matthew 7:7a (GWT)

Scripture for the day:

James 1:5-8 (RKJNT) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and without reproach; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, without wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and tossed. 7 Let not that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord, 8 For a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. [read James 1:2-8]

James 1:5-8 (ERV) Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So he will give you wisdom. 6 But when you ask God, you must believe. Don’t doubt him. Whoever doubts is like a wave in the sea that is blown up and down by the wind. 7-8 People like that are thinking two different things at the same time. They can never decide what to do. So they should not think they will receive anything from the Lord.

Thought for the day:

The Scriptures give us access to God, they communicate His thoughts and instructions for us, I combined various verses to create the prayer formula. See if you can find more scriptures that complete the formula. I remind you to pray for full understanding while you study God’s word, allow the Holy Spirit to help you understand God’s word. If you have questions please ask via comment below or email. Have a great day and take time to help someone in need—be blessed—Tim.
