Positive Attitude – The impossible for people are possible through Jesus!

NOTE: The things that are impossible for people are possible through Jesus!

Scripture for the day:

Philippians 2:1-5 So then, as Christians, do you have any encouragement? Do you have any comfort from love? Do you have any spiritual relationships? Do you have any sympathy and compassion? 2 Then fill me with joy by having the same attitude and the same love, living in harmony, and keeping one purpose in mind.

3 Don’t act out of selfish ambition or be conceited. Instead, humbly think of others as being better than yourselves. 4 Don’t be concerned only about your own interests, but also be concerned about the interests of others. 5 *Have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.* (GW)

Thought for the day:

Our attitude (approach, belief, demeanor, perspective, reaction or view) can make a difference between success and failure. If we approach a task believing that we cannot complete it, more than likely we will not complete it. Without going into further detail, I want you to read the scriptures and ask “how does this help make me have a positive attitude—a confident attitude?”

Okay, I will give one example; Luke recorded Jesus saying ‘things which are impossible with men (people) are possible with God’. As a child of God, when we learn to let God help us by working through us, it is then that “I can do all things through Christ…”(Philippians 4:13) becomes a reality. We begin that task with a positive attitude—a confident attitude, knowing God is going to make it possible. Even Jesus said in John 5:30 (read John 5:24-30 NRSV) “I can do nothing on my ownI seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”

Learn to let God help you feel good and be blessed— Tim.
