bible lesson, Uncategorized

Take 15 minutes to read our 1st Bible Lesson: ‘You Can’t Afford to be Bored with God’s Word’.  A good read especially if you love God’s word.

Message in the picture:

“You can’t afford to be bored with God’s word – it is life – study it–live it”

Scripture and thought for the day:

2 Timothy 3:16-17 Everything in the Scriptures is God’s Word. All of it is useful for teaching and helping people and for correcting them and showing them how to live. 17 The Scriptures train God’s servants to do all kinds of good deeds. (CEV)

Snippet from the lesson: “Can you afford to give up on God’s word? No, please do not stop; adjust. Make the proper changes. Pray and ask the Lord to give you an appetite / a hunger for the word.

There is hope for you. Yes, the world is crazy and things that are happening can make you feel hopeless. That is why you have God’s word, to aid in giving you hope (Romans 15:4).

Jesus said, ‘I am the bread of life’[2]… Learn to hunger for the word of God. Binge on it and live! Do you now understand why you cannot afford to be bored with God’s word?”

Be blessed my friends—♥ Tim.

God’s Message

Message in the picture

Whoever listens to you listens to Me. Whoever rejects you rejects Me. And whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.” Luke 10:16 (HCSB)

Scripture for the day

Luke 11:27-28 Weymouth New Testament (WNT) As He thus spoke a woman in the crowd called out in a loud voice, “Blessed is the mother who carried you, and the breasts that you have sucked.” 28 “Nay rather,” He replied, “they are blessed who hear God’s Message and carefully keep it.”

Thought for the day

God’s message will be preached throughout the world to give all a chance to repent and be saved. Luke 24:47-48 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) You saw these things happen—you are witnesses. You must go and tell people that they must change and turn to God, which will bring them his forgiveness. You must start from Jerusalem and tell this message in my name to the people of all nations. Believe and receive God’s message and be blessed—Tim.
